We developed a custom wall-mounted bottle opener for a Netherlands-based client Heineken in the beverage industry, based on a provided 3D logo design. The product was manufactured using zinc alloy die casting, followed by polishing, electroplating, assembly, and packaging.
Project Requirement
The design featured a raised 3D logo integrated into a non-flat surface structure. The key requirement was to ensure:
- Accurate logo geometry reproduction
- Clean visual appearance after electroplating
- Stable wall-mounted functionality
Sampling & Engineering Adjustment
During initial sampling, we identified a visual variation on the embossed logo area caused by light reflection on curved surfaces after electroplating.
This is a known factor in zinc alloy die casting when converting 3D logo artwork into production tooling.
We coordinated with the tooling team and carried out standard mold adjustments and re-sampling. After refinement, the revised sample met the required visual and structural standards and was approved by the client for production.
